Willard Adkins

CFO and Director of Administration

Willard Adkins serves as the CFO and Director of Administration for Babbage Cofounder. In this role, Willard is charged with overseeing the company's functions in accounting, reporting, office administration, and compliance to ensure smooth firm operations.

Willard brings over 30 years of experience in an office environment and customer service to his current position. Before joining Babbage Cofounder, he worked as the Executive Resource Director for a Lexington-based software company where he was responsible for all human resource matters, safety and security concerns, and corporate travel arrangements. He also served as the Executive Assistant for the Chief Executive Officer. Willard's background as the Front Office Manager of a large convention hotel saw him successfully oversee employees in 5 departments as well as all guest relation matters where he raised the property's satisfaction percentage by 27 points.

Graduating with an MBA, Willard spent his time at the University of Kentucky studying hospitality management, education, music, and arts administration while also performing in several ensembles including the University's Wildcat Marching Band, Pep Band, and Trumpet Choir.

A native of Pikeville in Eastern Kentucky, Willard was a Governor’s Scholar and served as the State President of his fraternity & served on an international council of thirteen countries. He is an active civic leader in the community and has served on a number of non-profit boards in the Lexington area. In addition to his professional achievements, Willard actively contributes to the Barbershop Harmony Society where he has served as a two-time Past President of the Kentuckians Chorus (the Lexington Chapter) as well as Past President of the Cardinal District (Indiana and Kentucky).

Certified as an Organization Specialist and a trained public speaker, Willard has been labeled the office 'factotum' - from accounting and compliance to digital design and technical writing, he can do it all. His extensive background in software development, general computer applications, graphic art and desktop publishing support the advocacy and business development initiatives at Babbage Cofounder.
