Julie helps guide the firm’s strategic direction, brand presence, and key initiatives.
Julie advises on strategic priorities and select initiatives across the firm’s portfolio of causes. She previously led the firm’s association management and public relations portfolio, representing organizations and advocacy efforts in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Julie has enjoyed a lifelong front-row seat to politics. Her earliest memories include her father’s campaign for Governor, sparking an early interest in government and public service. Her experience in the political arena began through internships, including with former Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell.
Julie graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University, where she studied International Business, Human Development, Philosophy, and Spanish. During college, she was won a prestigious semester-long internship at the U.S. Embassy London, serving as Intern to the Ambassador.
Following graduation, Julie joined Deloitte as a Business Analyst in the Washington, D.C. federal practice. There she supported organizational transformation initiatives across federal agencies, including helping coordinate employee engagement during the largest transition in one agency’s history.
Julie later joined Babbage Cofounder, where she led advocacy and coalition-building efforts in Kentucky and nationwide. One notable example is her work as Executive Director of the Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition. Under Julie’s leadership, the coalition secured significant wins on drug affordability during both the Trump and Biden administrations. Julie was invited to the White House for President Donald Trump’s signing of an executive order expanding insulin access.
In 2022, Julie was recognized as one of seven “Emerging Power Brokers” in Frankfort by Kentucky Fried Politics. She has also been named multiple times to the annual list of Notable Women in Kentucky Politics and Government by The Kentucky Gazette.
Julie resides in Lexington with her husband and children and has served in several volunteer capacities, including on the board of the Louisville Zoo.
